About H. Hargrove:
Born in Italy as Nicolo Sturiano. A graduate of the Wine Institute of Marsala, he came to the US in 1964.

Hired as a winemaker for a vineyard in NY, he fell in love w/ the American landscape & started painting. Soon the art became more popular than the wine. He soon found himself in a studio in Greenwich Village.
